Sven founded the market in 2010 and has been providing a fun atmosphere for Wilmington to find locally farmed produce and more.

We have two convenient locations in Wilmington on Market St. and on Carolina Beach Rd.

Where did the name come from you ask?

Sven's, mother's maiden name is Biggers. 

Her father (Sven's grandfather) started a produce business with his brothers in the 1920's called "Biggers Brothers."

We thought it would be cool to honor the family name and make our little market BIGGER!

The family of Biggers Market believes it is important to provide fresh, local fruits and vegetables to our customers and community, not only to promote clean, healthy living but to also stimulate agricultural growth in the Carolinas.
